After years of anticipation, reflection, and transformation, BTS is officially back—and they’re returning in a way only global pop royalty can.

Netflix, in partnership with HYBE, has announced BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, a monumental live performance streaming exclusively on Netflix on March 21, 2026, at 8 PM KST (4 AM PST / 7 AM EST). A Worldwide Comeback, Streaming Live from Korea

For the first time ever, Netflix will livestream a global event directly from Korea, marking a major expansion of its live programming slate. Against the iconic Seoul skyline, RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook reunite onstage, performing together for the first time since completing South Korea’s mandatory military service.

Directed by Hamish Hamilton and produced by Done + Dusted, the live special promises a cinematic, emotionally charged experience that honors BTS’ roots while celebrating their next chapter.

And yes—it’s a ticketed event, with more details coming soon.

ARIRANG: A New Album, A New Era

Released on March 20, 2026, ARIRANG is BTS’ most reflective and personal body of work to date. The album explores identity, heritage, and growth—both as individuals and as a group—capturing the evolution of seven artists shaped by time, distance, and shared history.

Following the album release, BTS will launch the ARIRANG World Tour (2026–2027), spanning 34 regions and 82 shows across Asia, North and Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond. Massive? Absolutely. Meaningful? Even more so.

BTS: THE RETURN — An Intimate Look Behind the Music

Because one historic moment simply isn’t enough, Netflix will also premiere the exclusive feature-length documentary BTS: THE RETURN on March 27, 2026.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bao Nguyen (The StringerThe Greatest Night in Pop), and produced by This Machine, HYBE, and EAST Films, the documentary offers unprecedented access to BTS during their reunion process.

Filmed largely in Los Angeles, BTS: THE RETURN captures the group as they reconnect creatively after years apart—navigating doubt, joy, laughter, and rediscovery. It’s an intimate portrait of resilience and brotherhood, asking quieter questions about growth, legacy, and how to begin again without losing what came before.

Emotional, hopeful, and deeply human, the film is a story only BTS can tell.
