Apple TV+ has officially announced that its Emmy Award-winning cultural force, “Ted Lasso,” is returning for a highly anticipated fourth season in summer 2026. Currently in production, the new season promises fresh challenges, heartfelt humor, and the unmistakable warmth that turned the series into a worldwide sensation.

Jason Sudeikis reprises his iconic role as Ted Lasso while also serving as executive producer, setting the tone for another season rooted in hope, resilience, and unexpected triumphs.
A Familiar Team—Plus Exciting New Recruits
Season four welcomes back beloved cast members who helped make the show legendary. Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift all return to their celebrated roles, bringing the chemistry fans know and genuinely adore.

Adding fresh energy to the pitch are new cast members Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsey, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely, whose characters are poised to shake up the Richmond universe in surprising ways.

This time around, Ted’s journey takes an inspiring turn. In season four, he returns to Richmond to coach a second-division women’s football team, facing what may be his most meaningful challenge yet. An Award-Winning Creative Force Behind the Scenes
Joining the executive production team is Emmy Award winner Jack Burditt (“Modern Family,” “30 Rock”), under a new overall deal with Apple TV+. Sudeikis continues his executive producer role alongside Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel.

Brett Goldstein returns as writer and executive producer with Leanne Bowen, while Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walshserve as writers and producers. Additional creative contributors include Julia Lindon, Dylan Marron, and co-producer Sasha Garron.
The series remains executive produced by Bill Lawrence through Doozer Productions, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.
