The Bistro Group continues to expand their reach across the metro with new branches of Watami and Modern Shang now open side by side on the third floor of Glorietta 3, and an Olive Garden branch set to open next to them.

Watami in Glorietta 3 is just one of the several branches The Bistro Group recently opened just in time for the holidays, with more restaurants in Eastwood Mall, Mall of Asia, Venice Grand Canal Mall, and Bonifacio High Street set to open soon.
This new branch of Watami with a 120-seating capacity fuses modern design with its traditional Japanese interior, with wooden accents, warm lighting, and boughs of cherry blossoms adorning the place. On the far end of the restaurant is a nice dining area lined with wide windows, and synthetic foliage making the place not only Instagram-worthy, but also offering an elevated experience.
Of course, on top of the cozy ambiance is Watami’s lineup of delicious Japanese dishes, including their sumptuous sushi rolls, tempura, and aburi. One can also dig into their mouthwatering ramen, rice bowls, and seafood selections.

Modern Shang also continues to expand, with its new Mall of Asia and Glorietta 3 branches soon to be joined by a new store in Maridien, BGC.
Their Glorietta 3 branch offers a more compact, elegant interior that could cater to up to 106 customers. Just in time for the holidays, this new store opening also comes with the launch of Modern Shang’s Special Christmas dishes.
The rich and savory Holiday special Braised Pork Knuckle (P998) features a mouthwatering pork knuckle with meat that slides right off the bone and a sweet and savory sauce that will really delight Filipino palates. They also have the Braised Pork Belly with spring onions, red yeast rice, and ginger that’s just as tender and delectable.
Of course, Modern Shang’s signature staples are also perfect for Holiday celebrations, such as their Xiao Long Bao, Steamed Hakaw Shrimp Dumplings, Roasted Crispy Pork, Wok-Fried Beef with Broccoli, Orange Chicken, Deep Fried Squid, and Birthday Noodles.
