“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has swung straight into the Philippine box office record books.
The highly anticipated superhero adventure earned PHP 95,930,965, or nearly PHP 96 million, on its first day in cinemas. The impressive result marks the biggest opening day gross for a Spider-Man movie in the Philippines.

It also delivered the largest opening day ever for a Sony Pictures release and the biggest post-pandemic opening day at the Philippine box office.
Adding another remarkable achievement, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” scored the third-biggest opening day of all time in the country, behind only Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc., the film’s Philippine distributor, announced the record-breaking results.

Beyond its powerful box office performance, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has also earned enthusiastic reviews from critics.
The film is currently rated 91% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Meanwhile, The Times commended Tom Holland’s performance, declaring, “Spectacular Holland continues to justify the hype.”

It is a brand-new day for Peter Parker.
