Marvel Studios has released today the first trailer for the highly anticipated film “The Marvels,” now available for fans to enjoy.
In “The Marvels,” Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the oppressive Kree and avenged herself on the Supreme Intelligence. However, her actions lead to unforeseen consequences and a destabilized universe.
Carol’s duties take her to a mysterious wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, where her powers become entwined with those of Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) from Jersey City and her estranged niece, S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. This unlikely trio must join forces and learn to work together to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
The film stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. Nia DaCosta directs, with Kevin Feige producing. Executive producers include Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins. The screenplay is written by Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.
Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels” will be hitting Philippine cinemas on November 8.
