Mexico’s mythical creature, the Chupacabra, gets reimagined in the new movie Chupa! Netflix has released the trailer for the film, featuring a young boy who befriends the legendary creature. Watch the trailer for Chupa below:
The movie follows the teenager Alex who is visiting his family in Mexico when he discovers a young chupacabra hiding in his grandpa’s shed. With the help of his cousins, Alex embarks on an adventure to find the creature’s family and reunite them.
Directed by Jonás Cuarón, Chupa stars Evan Whitten, Christian Slater, Demián Bichir, Ashley Ciarra, Nickolas Verdugo, Adriana Paz, Gerardo Taracena, and Julio Cesar Cedillo. The film starts streaming on Netflix this April 7.
