Primetime Powerhouse will be TMC’s special thematic handle for the last two months of 2022, featuring A-List actors from Hollywood and Asia. This November and December, expect your TMC movies to be filled not only with thrill and action but also with a star-studded cast featured from every movie block.
This theme will align with TMC’s weeknight movie blocks featured every Wednesday to Friday: Asia’s Best, Hollywood Hits, and K Nights.
Asia’s Best, which airs at 6 PM, will be headlined by world-famous Asian actors such as Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Chow Yun-Fat, and Andy Lau. Hollywood Hits at 8 PM has a list of movies with some of Hollywood’s most famed action stars, such as Sylvester Stallone, Pierce Brosnan, Jean Claude Van Dam1me, and Jason Statham. The block also features award-winning stars like Ryan Gosling, Nicolas Cage, Anne Hathaway, and Jennifer Garner. While K Nights, which airs at 10 PM, shines with its movies starring top-billing Korean stars such as Song Kang Ho, Lee Jung Jae, Park Shin Hye, Park Bo Gum, Song Joong Ki, Gong Yoo, and Hyun Bin, among many others.
TMC’s weekend block, Saturday Marathon, which airs from 6 to 10 PM, will also focus on highlighting the all-time and today’s most popular celebrities. November marathon will be about Hollywood Legends (Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas, Anthony Hopkins), Forbes Korea’s Power Celebrities of 2022 (Lee Jung Jae, Park Seo Joon, Lee Seung Gi), 2022’s Highest Paid Actors (Tom Hardy, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio), and Best Asian Action Stars Of All Time (Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Jet Li). While the December marathon will highlight Cannes Best Actors (Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson, Antonio Banderas, Song Kang Ho), 2022 Top Celebrity Influencers (Chris Hemsworth, Jennifer Lopez, Tom Holland), Oscars Best Actress (Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence), All Time Favorite Action Stars (Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Gerard Butler), and K-Pop Idols Turned Actors (Park Chanyeol of EXO, I’m Yoo Na of Girls Generation, Choi Min Ho of Shinee).
