Netflix released the creepy and disturbing trailer for their upcoming series, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.
Instead of another true crime documentary, this dark crime drama from the Emmy Award-winning creator of American Crime Story, Ryan Murphy, will depict the gruesome killings of the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and the systemic failures that enabled his killing spree that spanned over a decade.

A well-known name among true crime enthusiasts, Jeffrey Dahmer terrorized America from the late ’70s to the early ’90s with a series of murders, in which the victims’ bodies were dismembered and preserved. Also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, Dahmer confessed to murdering a total of 17 teen boys and men.
Evan Peters of X-Men: Apocalypse will play the titular role. The series also stars Niecy Nash, Richard Jenkins, Molly Ringwald, and Michael Learned. It will premiere on Netflix this September 21.
