If You Wish Upon Me stars Chang Wook as Yoon Gyeo Ree, a man who has only known misery having been abused as a young boy and served time in prison as an adult. His life changes when he is ordered by a court to spend his community service at a care facility for the terminally ill. Here he meets Kang Tae Shik, who created a volunteer unit called Team Genie, which is dedicated to granting the final wishes of their dying patients. Gyeo Ree also meets the young nurse Seo Yeon Joo, played by Soo Young, who never gives up on her patients.
Directed by Kim Yong Wan, this K-drama also stars Sung Dong Il, Won Ji An, Yang Hee Kyung, and Kil Hae Yeon. You can now stream the first episode of If You Wish Upon Me on Viu.
