The adorable Guardian of the Galaxy, Baby Groot, is setting out on an adventure of his own in a series of shorts in Disney+’s I Am Groot!
In its first trailer revealed over the weekend during the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, we get to see Groot back in his “baby” stage, encountering other life forms that are just as adorable as him! Watch the trailer for I Am Groot below:
Baby Groot first appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2, grown from a sapling that was left of the original Groot’s body. The tiny tree-like creature then turned into “Teen Groot” in Avengers: Infinity War, and assisted Rocket Raccoon and Thor in their mission to forge a new weapon in Nidavellir.
I Am Groot is comprised of five original shorts streaming on Disney+ starting August 10. The much-awaited arrival of Disney’s streaming platform here in the Philippines is still yet to be announced.
