Sta. Ana, who also produces and helms films like Katanyag, served as a mentor at the screenwriting workshop for the second time. “What stood out to me most – beyond the mentees’ eagerness and positive attitude – was the deep sense of rapport and friendship they developed with one another throughout the workshop. It was moving to witness how they supported each other’s growth while showing genuine curiosity and commitment to the craft,” he revealed.

Melvin Waje Reyes, one of the participants, described the workshop as “a sprinkle of fairy dust” that sparked new ideas and perspectives. “Meeting new people, sitting next to them, and listening as they share their stories – the ones that echo their personal journeys and the things closest to their hearts – is such a unique and meaningful experience,” he shared.

Kim Timan, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Film from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in 2017, realized that learning really never stops. “The workshop was such an insightful and humbling experience. Your Wellness Reset Awaits at Solaire Resort North

These days, staying healthy isn’t just a personal goal—it’s a collective shift in how we live. People are moving with more purpose, resting with more intention, and seeking spaces that support not only strength and stamina, but also clarity, calm, and connection.

Photo 1 PACE at the Health Club

Solaire Resort North brings that vision to life through an integrated, design-forward approach to total wellness—one that’s rare in the city, and even rarer in its depth.

At the heart of this experience is the two-level Health Club, a complete ecosystem for movement and recovery. It features a gym with state-of-the-art equipment, a Functional Training Zone for mobility and real-world strength, and PACE, a performance and prehabilitation facility offering personalized programs to prevent injury and build long-term resilience. A personal trainer is on standby should guests need guidance or training on their fitness regimen.

    Photo 2 The Gym

Wellness extends beyond physical training. The thermal suite offers a curated sequence of recovery rituals – from experiential showers and saunas. There’s even a tepidarium, a warm, gently heated area inspired by ancient Roman bathhouses. With temperatures typically set between 35–40°C, it creates a mild and consistent warmth that encourages relaxation without overwhelming the body. Unlike saunas or steam rooms, the tepidarium is designed for lingering. The gentle heat soothes the nervous system, promotes circulation, and prepares the body for deeper treatments, making it an ideal mid-point between hot and cold therapies. Guests can also enjoy the therapy pools which stimulate circulation and ease the body back into balance, creating a rhythm of restoration that lingers long after the session ends.

Next door, the Spa & Salon brings a sense of indulgence to the journey. Every treatment begins with a grounding ritual and unfolds in a tranquil, sensory-rich setting—ideal for those seeking stillness, renewal, or simply a pause from the pace of daily life. Couples looking to disconnect from the outside world can retreat to private spa suites, where side-by-side treatments invite shared stillness. Between sessions, guests are invited to unwind in transition rooms, where calming teas and light refreshments allow the body to rest and the experience to linger. It’s not just about the massage—it’s the moments in between that make it memorable.

At the center is a striking 50-meter lap pool, which allows you to do early morning laps or a chance to cool off in the afternoon. Kids can enjoy the nearby Waterpark which has interactive features like splash buckets, slides, and water cannons.

Completing this dynamic outdoor level is the Kids Club, a five-story indoor playground that gives younger guests a world of their own. Inside, children can explore bowling lanes, themed party rooms, snack stations, and immersive play zones.

Solaire Resort North isn’t just a place to work out or wind down—it’s a place where total well-being is built into every moment. From training to recovery, from stillness to play, it offers a one-of-a-kind wellness experience in the heart of the city—designed for those who want to live fully, intentionally, and well.

  • New Look. Same Love. Heart Mate: The Next Level for the Philippines’ No. 1 Canola Oil Brand

New Look. Same Love. Heart Mate: The Next Level for the Philippines’ No. 1 Canola Oil Brand

Heart Mate Canola Oil, the Philippines’ leading canola oil brand, isn’t just unveiling a new look — it’s reshaping how consumers experience a kitchen essential. With a thoughtfully redesigned bottle that blends aesthetics and function, the brand’s refresh doesn’t shout for attention — it earns it.

Jolly Heart Mate New Look. Same Love

At first glance, the new Heart Mate bottle strikes a balance of elegance and practicality. Designed by no less than a French designer, the new form brings a refined, modern touch. At the same time, it was thoughtfully made with everyday Filipino kitchens in mind, now compact for easier storage, even on tight shelves, and slimmer for a more comfortable grip. Beyond form and function, the new shape also makes room for what truly matters: Heart Mate’s promise of heart health and trusted quality.

But this isn’t just about design. As Heart Mate celebrates 25 years, it strengthens its promise and commitment to helping Filipinos cook heart-healthy meals every day — in ways that are simple, accessible, and part of every home.

The new Heart Mate bottle was built to stand out in-store, in your kitchen, and in your heart.

A Modern Look for a Heart-Healthy Kitchen Essential

Anchoring the bottle is a new symbol that combines the letter “H” and a heart. The heart also forms an “M” and resembles a canola flower petal. This simple yet thoughtful design connects to the brand name and highlights Heart Mate’s natural roots and commitment to heart health. This small but meaningful visual cue reflects Heart Mate’s promise of quality and care in every bottle.

Along the surface, four heart-shaped petals are embossed into the front, back, and sides of the bottle. These elegant contours aren’t just decorative, they give the bottle a tactile signature, setting it apart from the sea of generic oil packaging on grocery shelves. Consumers don’t just see the difference; they feel it.

The logo has also been refreshed to make “Heart Mate” the hero. Bolder, cleaner, and more prominent, it allows shoppers to instantly recognize the product and its 100% pure canola oil declaration. It’s a confident move that signals the brand’s leadership and clarity in a crowded category.

From shelf appeal to grip comfort, every curve, panel, and line of the new bottle has been carefully considered. It’s a design that doesn’t just look premium — it feels personal.

While the packaging has evolved, what’s inside hasn’t changed — and for good reason. It’s still the same 100% pure canola oil that Filipino families have trusted for years: zero cholesterol, rich in omega-3 and omega-6, and the lowest in saturated fats among vegetable oils — helping lower the risk of heart disease and stroke. Ideal for everything from stir-fries and stews to baked dishes and weekend frying sprees, it remains as versatile as ever. Heart Mate Canola Oil still carries the same love each person pours into the pan when preparing meals for their loved ones.

    A Moment Worth Celebrating

Fly Ace Corporation Executive Team Members

The executive and brand team of Fly Ace Corporation, makers of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil, come together to celebrate the brand’s refreshed packaging with the campaign message “New Look. Same Love.”  This initiative is a testament to their continued commitment to heart-healthy quality and innovation in every bottle.

The new look was unveiled at an exclusive media launch attended by members of the press and content creators, marking a major milestone in Heart Mate Canola Oil’s journey. More than just a product reveal, it was a celebration of a brand that has become a trusted kitchen staple across generations.

For over 10 years, Heart Mate Canola Oil has consistently held the No. 1 spot in the canola oil category in the Philippines — a clear reflection of its quality, heart-health benefits, and the trust it continues to earn from Filipino families. The launch event underscored how deeply the brand is woven into everyday cooking — and how ready it is to take the next step forward.

Familiar, but Better in Every Way

“We weren’t just after a prettier bottle. We wanted to rethink how it feels to use Heart Mate in your everyday cooking,” said Abigail Ng-Reyes, Vice President for Marketing at Fly Ace Corporation. “We wanted something that consumers would not only trust but also be proud to display in their kitchens.”

It’s rare for a product this familiar to receive a redesign that truly enhances the user experience. But that’s exactly what Heart Mate Canola Oil has done. The new bottle proves that even pantry staples can evolve, without losing the qualities that made people love them in the first place.

NEW LOOK. SAME LOVE. HEART MATE.

Jolly Heart Mate Caldereta Cook Off

Content creators and lifestyle media take part in the Caldereta Cook-Off during the recent media launch of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil. Showcasing creativity in the kitchen and heart-healthy cooking, the event brought together delicious moments, camaraderie, and the brand’s new look and same love promise.

The design may be new, but what’s inside hasn’t changed. It’s the same trusted canola oil that has fueled countless Filipino meals over the years — only now, in a bottle that fits right into the way we cook today.

Still the oil you trust. Now in a bottle that looks — and feels — just right.
