Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi ignite the screen in Emerald Fennell’s wildly reimagined Wuthering Heights, arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day 2026. The first teaser trailer has dropped—and it’s a full-body fever dream of passion, madness, and aesthetic mayhem.
Opening in cinemas February 13, 2026 (US) and February 14 internationally, this isn’t your grandma’s Brontë adaptation. Directed, written, and produced by Oscar winner Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman, Saltburn), the film promises an unflinching exploration of love that’s as twisted as it is intoxicating.
An Erotic Gothic Romance
From the first few seconds of the teaser, it’s clear: this Wuthering Heights is set to stun.
The trailer teases surreal imagery—Margot Robbie pounding dough, Jacob Elordi shirtless in the rain, and moments soaked in sensuality, violence, and emotional turmoil. The visuals blur the line between pleasure and pain, art and chaos, intimacy and destruction.
And in true Emerald Fennell fashion, the teaser doesn’t whisper—it shouts.
Watch the Teaser Now:
Meet the Star-Crossed Lovers
Margot Robbie takes on the iconic role of Catherine Earnshaw, bringing a feral energy and glamor that’s anything but period drama standard.
Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, Saltburn) plays Heathcliff, Catherine’s tempestuous, tragic soulmate. His casting sparked buzz online, especially among fans who note the character’s “dark-skinned” description in the original text.
Each character promises to add depth, danger, and delight to this thrilling reinvention.
Soundtrack by Charli XCX? Yes, Please.
Another surprise: pop disruptor Charli XCX is creating original songs for the film. Paired with a haunting score by Anthony Willis, the music will amplify the story’s emotional extremes—think heartbreak, obsession, and longing turned all the way up.
Final Thoughts: Will You Come Undone?
With bold performances, controversial casting, and aesthetics that burn into your brain, Wuthering Heights is shaping up to be 2026’s most talked-about film. Whether you’re a Brontë purist or a fan of genre-defying cinema, this adaptation dares you to feel everything.
One thing’s for sure: this isn’t just a love story—it’s a reckoning.
Coming to cinemas February 2026. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The devil works hard, but Filipino horror fans work harder.
In a jaw-dropping start to its theatrical run, The Conjuring: Last Rites has obliterated local box office expectations — claiming the crown for the biggest opening day for a horror movie in Philippine history, and breaking records for the highest-grossing midnight screening ever in the country.
On September 3, audiences across the Philippines flooded cinemas at exactly 12:00 AM — sacrificing sleep for screams — as they witnessed the haunting final chapter of Ed and Lorraine Warren’s journey on the big screen.
A Box Office Spectacle Like No Other
Let the numbers speak: Last Rites, rated R-16, is now officially the highest-grossing R-16 opening in the Philippines, toppling the previous record set by Final Destination: Bloodlines. Even more impressive? It currently holds the second-highest opening day for any film released in 2025 — across all genres.
Not bad for a pair of ghost hunters saying their last goodbye.
The Final Case: Ed and Lorraine’s Swan Song
The Conjuring: Last Rites marks the ninth — and final — installment in the $2 billion global horror juggernaut known as the Conjuring Universe. Once again directed by Michael Chaves, with horror masters James Wan and Peter Safranproducing, the film brings real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren back to the screen one last time — portrayed by fan-favorite duo Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
Brimming with chilling set pieces, emotional callbacks, and edge-of-your-seat suspense, this cinematic finale is everything fans hoped it would be… and then some.
Watch the Trailer Here:
What the Creators Are Saying
James Wan, who helped launch the franchise with the original The Conjuring films, credits the series’ success to the magic between Wilson and Farmiga. “Vera and Patrick have always been the center of these movies,” says Wan, who directed “The Conjuring” 1 and 2, and has been a producer since the second film in the universe. “They have such a great relationship, onscreen and off – they’re such good friends. I think that really comes across and the audience sees how authentic it is… I have always said, ‘They come for the fright and the scares, but they really stick around for Vera and Patrick.’”
Producer Peter Safran echoes the sentiment. “I think the success of the universe has really hinged on the Warrens as a family. That’s why people keep coming back to see the next adventure, the next investigation, the next stage in their lives – it’s because they’ve fallen in love with Ed and Lorraine as portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.”
Director Michael Chaves adds, “Vera and Patrick have always been our secret weapon. They’re the heart and soul of these films, and it’s their talent and who they are as people that have shaped these movies from the start.”
Nostalgia, Terror, and One Last Scare
For the stars themselves, saying goodbye wasn’t easy.
Patrick Wilson, who’s donned Ed Warren’s suit and cross for over a decade, shared his gratitude: “Going back to the first film, I remember thinking, ‘What a gift to be able to do this.’”
Meanwhile, Vera Farmiga reflected on the legacy: “It’s been really fun to grow up through the decades and explore all these sensational cases,” she shares, but adds: “This story is the last act for these two.”
Say Goodbye While You Still Can
This isn’t just a movie — it’s the end of an era. The Conjuring: Last Rites gives fans the closure they didn’t know they needed and delivers one last haunting, heart-wrenching ride through the supernatural.
Whether you’re a long-time fan or a thrill-seeker looking for the scare of the season, this is your moment.
Just when you thought the terror had ended, it mutates.
The post-apocalyptic universe first unleashed by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland returns with a chilling new chapter—28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Directed by the visionary Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels), this psychological horror-thriller revisits a devastated world where survival comes at the cost of your soul.
The Official Trailer is Finally here. Watch it now:
Set for release in Philippine cinemas this January 2026, the film is distributed locally by Columbia Pictures, the Philippine branch of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
Rage Lives On – But So Does Something Far Worse
Gone are the days when the infected were the only monsters.
In The Bone Temple, the story picks up nearly three decades after the outbreak that decimated society. Ralph Fiennes reprises his role as the enigmatic Dr. Kelson, now entangled in a mysterious and dangerous relationship that could alter humanity’s future. Meanwhile, Alfie Williams returns as Spike, a hardened survivor whose path collides with a new antagonist—Jimmy Crystal, portrayed by Jack O’Connell (Unbroken, Skins).
And here’s the twist: the infected? They’re no longer the biggest threat.
A Darker, Deeper Descent into Horror
Forget what you think you know about zombie films. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple flips the narrative, plunging audiences into a terrifying exploration of human cruelty in a world stripped of morality.
As survivors form factions, alliances grow toxic, and trust becomes more lethal than the virus itself. Newcomers Erin Kellyman (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Chi Lewis-Parry add fresh blood to a franchise already brimming with complex characters and emotional tension.
Directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Alex Garland, the film promises to push boundaries and unsettle audiences like never before.
Meet the Creative Powerhouse Behind the Film
This isn’t just another sequel—it’s an evolution.
Produced by a powerhouse team that includes Andrew Macdonald, Peter Rice, Bernard Bellew, Danny Boyle, and Alex Garland, The Bone Temple builds on the foundation laid by 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. The film also boasts Cillian Murphy as executive producer, adding depth and prestige to the production.
⚠️ Credits not final and subject to change.

From Dream to Reality: Austin Butler Lands His Bucket List Role
For Austin Butler, working with director Darren Aronofsky has always been more than a career milestone—it was a childhood dream finally realized.
“The first thing I was ever cast in was a student film,” Butler says. “I asked the director of that movie who his favorite director was, and he said Darren Aronofsky. Since I was a child, I had this thing in my head where I wanted to work with Darren.”
That wish comes true in Caught Stealing, a gritty new crime film adapted from Charlie Huston’s novel. Butler steps into the gritty shoes of Hank Thompson, a washed-up baseball player turned bartender who finds himself caught in a deadly gang war after doing what seemed like a harmless favor.
Plot Twist: A Cat-Sitting Favor Gone Wrong
Set in downtown New York City, Caught Stealing begins with a simple request: Hank’s neighbor, Russ (played by Matt Smith), asks him to watch his cat. But things escalate quickly. That one favor launches Hank into a blood-soaked conflict between the city’s most ruthless criminals.
Butler explains, “He’s moved to New York and become a bartender. He’s numbing himself, just drinking and living a bare minimum life,” says Butler. “And then he’s thrown into this wild set of circumstances that create a life-or-death struggle. It’s a defibrillator that shocks him back into life—to take the responsibility to protect the people he cares about and not die himself.”
Watch the Featurette Here:
Aronofsky x Butler: A Dynamic Duo
On set, Butler thrived under Aronofsky’s intense creative direction.
“It’s a pressure cooker, and I enjoyed that,” he says. “He demands a lot of everybody, including himself, but that intensity pulls out the best in every department. It’s a pleasure to work hard when the results justify the work.”
Aronofsky, known for Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream, was equally impressed with Butler. “It’s the first time I’ve seen him show up as Austin,” says Aronofsky. “He often plays these incredible characters that he disappears in and brings them to life. But there’s so much of him in this character.”
A Character on the Brink
Screenwriter Charlie Huston, who adapted his own novel, reveals the emotional complexity behind Hank Thompson.
“When we meet Hank, he’s at a crossroads in his life,” says Huston. “When he was younger, he thought he was going to be a superstar baseball player. He had the brightest possible future, and through his own carelessness, it went completely awry. Faced with that, he chose to run away rather than confront it and try to grow from it. He’s been running for 12 or 13 years when we meet him.”
Shocked Back to Life
Caught Stealing isn’t just an action-packed crime saga—it’s a redemption story. It’s about a man waking up from his own apathy.
“He’s moved to New York and become a bartender.
Catch the Chaos: September 10 in PH Cinemas
With edge-of-your-seat action, emotionally charged performances, and Aronofsky’s signature tension, Caught Stealing is a must-watch thriller you won’t want to miss. Distributed locally by Columbia Pictures Philippines.
Mark your calendars—Caught Stealing opens in Philippine cinemas on September 10!
When James Wan and Peter Safran first brought The Conjuring to life back in 2013, they were simply hoping to create one terrifyingly great ghost story—something fans hadn’t seen in years. What they sparked, however, was the birth of a modern horror phenomenon.
Now, after nearly a decade and nine unforgettable films, The Conjuring Universe officially closes its doors with The Conjuring: Last Rites, premiering in Philippine cinemas on September 3.
Watch the Trailer Here:
From a Single Scare to a Global Horror Legacy
Reflecting on the franchise’s legacy, producer Peter Safran says the original goal was never to build a universe—it was to tell one phenomenal story.
“We just wanted to make one great movie,” shares Peter Safran, producer of “The Conjuring: Last Rites” and all the other previous eight movies in the franchise. “And so, we’re really proud to be here 14 years later, with all of the tremendous commercial and critical successes that these films have had… I believe you’re always conflicted by the end of something beautiful – I feel happy and sad. But with the series, I’m happy to have been involved with such an amazing group of artists, and that we’ve all gotten to end this journey on a high note.”
Wan on Wrapping Up: “It’s the Right Time”
For James Wan, who directed the first two Conjuring films and served as a producer across the franchise, Last Ritesmarks more than just a film—it’s a farewell to a creative family.
“For me, ‘The Conjuring: Last Rites’ is pretty much the end of an era and, because of that, it’s somewhat bittersweet,’ says Wan. “We’ve had such a good time making these films, because it feels like such a family unit. But like all good things… I think we’re finishing up at the right time. It feels like this movie is a good way to wrap up the world, at least for now. It’s been over a decade with the ‘Conjuring’ Universe. I’ve made many acquaintances who’ve become long-term friends.”
Why Fans Fell in Love: Vera & Patrick’s Powerful Onscreen Bond
Ask any Conjuring fan and they’ll tell you—it’s not just the scares that kept them coming back. It was the heart. And that heart has always been Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, portraying real-life paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren.
“Vera and Patrick have always been the center of these movies,” says Wan. “They have such a great relationship, onscreen and off – they’re such good friends. I think that really comes across and the audience sees how authentic it is. I think it brings much more reality to the characters that they play. It’s a big part of why fans out there love these films. I have always said, ‘They come for the fright and the scares, but they really stick around for Vera and Patrick.’
Director Michael Chaves, who helmed The Devil Made Me Do It and The Nun II, echoes this admiration:
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” and 2023’s “The Nun II”: “I’ve been so lucky to be part of the ‘Conjuring Universe.’ Saying goodbye to this experience – and to the friends I’ve made along the way – has been really emotional. Vera and Patrick have always been our secret weapon. They’re the heart and soul of these films, and it’s their talent and who they are as people that have shaped these movies from the start. These films ended up being family stories in a way not a lot of people expected – big family stories with plenty of scares.”
What to Expect in The Conjuring: Last Rites
Set against the backdrop of a chilling real-life case, The Conjuring: Last Rites brings Ed and Lorraine Warren back for their most emotional investigation yet. It’s a final stand against evil, and a touching tribute to the characters that defined an era.
Saying Goodbye to the Dark—and the Light
As the team prepares to send the franchise off, there’s a profound sense of gratitude. The Conjuring films not only redefined horror, they also nurtured long-lasting friendships and collaborations.
The Last Case Begins September 3
The Conjuring: Last Rites isn’t just the ninth installment in a record-breaking saga—it’s the final word in a story that’s terrified, moved, and inspired millions.
So if you’ve laughed nervously, screamed in fear, or cried over Ed and Lorraine’s love story… this one’s for you.
Don’t miss the grand finale in cinemas nationwide this September 3. Distributed locally by Warner Bros. Pictures PH.

A DreamWorks First: Bigger, Bolder, and Brimming with Heart
With 11 successful seasons under its belt, the series’ leap to the silver screen feels like a natural next step. DreamWorks Animation President Maggie Cohn describes the movie as “an imaginative, interactive, in-theater experience” and proudly marks it as the studio’s first-ever hybrid feature film.
“Gabby’s Dollhouse is filled with endless creativity and imagination, playing out in a deeply imagined world,” Cohn says. “Combine this with a director with a vision and a passionate fanbase wanting more from the franchise, and we had a great start for our movie.”
Meet the Heart Behind the Magic: Director Ryan Crego
Director Ryan Crego, himself a dad of three little Gabby fans, brings a deeply personal touch to the project.
“Living in a house of Gabby fans—I have three small kids who are obsessed—it was super important to me to retain the charm, character and copious amounts of glitter that have made Gabby’s such a success,” Crego says. “All while striving to give the audience (and parents) a heightened, interactive experience, unlike anything that we have seen in the modern-day movie going era. We pushed for a much bigger journey, full of surprises and a heartfelt character arc that would only be possible given the length and structure of a feature-length film. It is a big responsibility to take one of the most successful original shows in the kids’ space of the last decade and make a movie out of it. There is so much that is great about Gabby’s Dollhouse, you just do not want to break it. Make no mistake, this is not a tv special; this is Gabby and the Gabby Cats on their biggest big screen adventure yet!”
But this isn’t just a supersized episode—it’s a full cinematic experience.:
“We wanted this to be a child’s first cinematic adventure,” Crego says. “One that has joy and music and silliness, yes, but also a sense of emotional weight and momentum.”
“As adults, we often lose touch with that sense of play,” Crego says. “This movie is about rediscovering it and holding on to it. It is a message not just for kids, but for their parents and grandparents too.”
Cohn adds:
“This is DreamWorks Animation’s first hybrid feature,” Cohn says. “But it is more than that. It is an imaginative, interactive, in-theater experience, and I cannot wait to see kids and their families singing, dancing and ‘pinch pinching’ along.”
Crego adds:
“I hope kids leave the theater inspired to create and sing and play, and that they are left with the reminder that creativity is not something you outgrow. It evolves and deepens and, if we are lucky, it never leaves us.”
Catch the Magic on the Big Screen

What if you could revisit your past to reimagine your future? In the upcoming romantic fantasy A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, Academy Award nominees Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell team up for the first time to explore this very question—wrapped in a story bursting with heart, wonder, and unexpected twists.
Opening in Philippine cinemas this September 17, this original film from visionary filmmaker Kogonada (After Yang, Columbus) invites viewers on a visually stunning and emotionally resonant experience unlike anything seen before.
A Wedding. A Door. A Journey Beyond the Ordinary.
Robbie and Farrell play Sarah and David, strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and are whisked away—quite literally—on an extraordinary adventure through doors that open into pivotal moments of their pasts. But these aren’t just nostalgic flashbacks. Each door offers a chance to relive, reckon, and reshape what they once thought was set in stone.
“I love the theatre of doors. When I see a door on a theatrical stage, it always sparks the imagination. That door has the potential to lead us anywhere – into the mundane or the magical. Doors represent possibilities. They are inherently mysterious. Opening a door, literally and figuratively, means entering a new space, a new experience, a new moment in your life,” director Kogonada explains.
Romance, Humor, Drama—and a Hint of Magic
Written by Seth Reiss, co-writer of The Menu, the film blends genres with effortless charm.
“I liked that we can’t put the film into a box, yet it feels relatable,” Reiss explains. “It’s a story about two people and their deficiencies and evolving love story, and everyone can relate to that. Then it’s all filtered through this high concept of their magical adventure. The characters of David (Farrell) and Sarah (Robbie) and their romance are like the cake of the movie, and the magical realism is the icing.”
As Kogonada puts it, “The characters are real, their connection is palpable, and when you add a touch of cinematic wonder, it elevates everything.”
An On-Screen Duo That Lights Up the Screen
Kogonada praises the undeniable chemistry between Robbie and Farrell, saying:
“It’s the kind of film I would want to watch in a packed theater,” Kogonada states. “It’s surprising and original with two compelling actors – Margot and Colin – at the peak of their craft. They light up the screen together.”
A Cinematic Experience That Stays With You
With originality at its core, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is about the kinds of stories that linger long after the credits roll. It’s romantic without being predictable, magical without losing emotional depth, and deeply human in its reflections.
“I wanted to make something that was original and had a scale that reflected my love for a certain kind of cinematic experience. The kind I experienced when I was younger that would leave me both delighted and moved and would stay with me for days upon days.”

Darren Aronofsky Loosens Up in a Gritty Crime Comedy That’s Surprisingly… Fun
Known for sending audiences on psychologically intense trips with films like Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan, Darren Aronofsky throws us a delightful curveball with his latest film, Caught Stealing.
“first and foremost fun—a movie that for two hours would fully distract and hold your attention, and while you’re at the theater, you have a great time.”
Set in late-‘90s New York and brimming with absurd twists, Caught Stealing is a dark comedy with all the unpredictability of a late-night bar fight—and Aronofsky is clearly having a blast behind the camera.
A Long Time Coming: From Book to Big Screen
Adapted from Charlie Huston’s cult novel of the same name, the film took nearly two decades to materialize. Aronofsky was first smitten by the book 18 years ago.
“I was so entertained and pumped by the book when I first read it 18 years ago,” he says. “Then a bunch of time passed, and Charlie tracked me down with an email out of the blue—they now controlled the book and had written a screenplay.”
That email set things in motion, with Huston not just handing over the story but shaping it for the screen.
“I wrote this book way back in 1998, the year the story is set in,” they say. “There’s a ton of my own lived experience in the story’s main character. When Darren Aronofsky reached out to me 18 years ago to say that he was interested in the book, it was super exciting. I loved the idea of Darren taking his visual sensibility and the dynamism of his storytelling and applying it to this story.”
Meet Hank Thompson: The Unluckiest Bartender in NYC
Austin Butler (Elvis) stars as Hank Thompson, a former baseball player turned bartender who just wants to be left alone. But when his oddball neighbor Russ (Matt Smith) begs him to cat-sit for a few days, Hank unknowingly inherits a world of trouble.
Suddenly, he’s in the crosshairs of gangsters, con artists, and cops—all thanks to a mysterious cat and a case of mistaken identity.
What starts as a favor turns into a full-blown survival game, packed with gritty alleyway brawls, stolen cash, and an ensemble of chaotic characters.
A Cast That’s Anything but Subtle
In true Aronofsky fashion, the characters here aren’t just colorful—they’re explosive:
Austin Butler goes from suave to scrappy, putting on weight and fully immersing himself in Hank’s spiraling world.
Matt Smith is wildly unpredictable as Russ, rocking a punk attitude and questionable choices.
Zoë Kravitz brings heart as Yvonne, Hank’s EMT girlfriend with a strong moral compass.
Supporting the madness are Regina King, Vincent D’Onofrio, Liev Schreiber, Carol Kane, and a gun-wielding Bad Bunny as “Colorado,” a gangster with a thing for stylish mayhem.

Yes, This is Still an Aronofsky Film
While Caught Stealing feels like a riotous genre jump, fans of Aronofsky will still recognize his signature storytelling—emotionally raw characters, intense visual framing, and stakes that escalate wildly.
Huston says it best:
“There’s a lot of humor in the story. It’s great to see him applying his sensibility to it. It has a very dark sensibility, and that’s Darren’s wheelhouse. Darren’s work has a deep earnestness to it, and an emotionality that’s very strong and very present. I like that his characters feel so deeply, and they always go on journeys.”
When and Where to Catch the Madness
