The thrilling first trailer for “Verity” has arrived, offering a chilling glimpse into a story where attraction, obsession, and deception become dangerously difficult to tell apart.
Based on Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, the seductive psychological thriller stars Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett and arrives in Philippine cinemas on September 30.
A Confession That Changes Everything
In “Verity,” promising writer Lowen Ashleigh, played by Dakota Johnson, accepts an opportunity to ghostwrite for famed author Verity Crawford, played by Anne Hathaway.
To immerse herself in Verity’s world and complete the unfinished work, Lowen relocates to the remote Crawford estate. What begins as a professional assignment soon takes a disturbing turn when she discovers what appear to be Verity’s deeply personal autobiographical notes.
And what she reads is anything but ordinary.
The pages contain chilling confessions involving Verity’s husband, Jeremy Crawford, played by Josh Hartnett, pulling Lowen deeper into a web of secrets, temptation, and uncertainty.

Fiction, Reality, or Something More Sinister?
As Lowen spends more time inside the Crawford home, the boundaries begin to blur. Is Verity telling the truth? Are the confessions real? Or is someone carefully manipulating the story?
Caught between opportunity and obsession, Lowen must determine what she can believe while confronting her growing attraction to Jeremy.
With every revelation, “Verity” raises another unsettling question about truth, desire, and how easily a story can be shaped by the person telling it.
