Pictures and Legendary Pictures have unveiled the new trailer for Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated trilogy closer, and it teases a return to Arrakis shaped by power, prophecy, betrayal, and love.
Opening in cinemas and IMAX internationally beginning December 16, 2026, the film brings Paul Atreides’ journey to its most dangerous chapter yet.

Paul Atreides Faces the Price of Power
Set nearly two decades after Paul Atreides took control of the Imperium, “Dune: Part Three” finds him ruling as a ruthless Emperor whose choices have left deep scars across the galaxy.
Once hailed as a messianic figure, Paul now stands at the center of an empire haunted by unrest. Old allies begin to reappear. New enemies rise from the shadows. Meanwhile, betrayal threatens to crack the foundations of everything he has built.

Following the success of the first two films, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Denis Villeneuve returns to direct “Dune: Part Three.” He also co-writes the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan, based on the celebrated novels by Frank Herbert.
