A Whistleblower Story That Changed the Conversation
Set years after the events portrayed in The Social Network, The Social Reckoning shifts its focus to a period when Facebook faced increasing scrutiny over its influence and responsibility.
The story follows Frances Haugen, portrayed by Mikey Madison, a young Facebook engineer who becomes troubled by information she encounters within the company. Seeking to bring those issues to public attention, she connects with Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz, played by Jeremy Allen White.
As their collaboration unfolds, the pair navigate mounting pressure and personal risks while pursuing a story that would eventually make headlines around the world. Their efforts culminate in the release of The Facebook Files, sparking widespread discussions about the role of social media in modern society.

Aaron Sorkin Returns to Familiar Territory
Known for his sharp dialogue and compelling character-driven storytelling, Aaron Sorkin once again examines the intersection of technology, power, and public accountability.
While The Social Network chronicled Facebook’s rise from a college project to a global platform, The Social Reckoning looks at the challenges and controversies that emerged as the company’s influence expanded.
With an acclaimed cast and a story rooted in recent events, the film aims to shed light on the individuals who played key roles in bringing important information to the public.
