Lights, Camera, Minions!
They are cute, chaotic, and ready to take over Hollywood.
In “Minions & Monsters”, a new tribe of Minions sets off on a wildly funny adventure filled with dreams, friendship, filmmaking, and, yes, monsters. What starts as one Minion’s bold attempt to create the next big movie quickly turns into a mishap of monstrous proportions.
Opening in Philippine cinemas on June 30, the film introduces audiences to a fresh batch of lovable henchmen with big personalities, hilarious quirks, and a whole lot of heart.
Meet James, the Creative Minion With Big Screen Dreams
At the heart of the story is James, a sensitive and imaginative Minion who is not quite like the others.

Instead of following the usual Minion instinct of finding an evil boss to serve, James dreams of telling stories. Drawn to art, creativity, and self-expression, he eventually discovers the powerful world of film.
Naturally, with a Minion behind the camera, things do not exactly go according to plan. James’ dream of making the next big movie leads to a massive accident, unleashing monsters into the world. Suddenly, his creative journey becomes a high-stakes mission to fix the chaos he helped create.
Henry, the Loyal Best Friend Everyone Needs
Every dreamer needs a cheerleader, and for James, that is Henry.

Kind, supportive, and endlessly encouraging, Henry has been by James’ side from the very beginning. Even when the rest of the tribe does not understand James’ artistic ambitions, Henry continues to believe in him.
Their friendship adds a sweet and uplifting layer to the film, proving that sometimes, one loyal friend is enough to keep a dream alive.
Ed Brings Heart and Teamwork to the Adventure
Completing the trio is Ed, a hearing-impaired Minion who communicates nonverbally.

Together, James, Henry, and Ed have developed their own system of signs, allowing them to connect in a way that is uniquely theirs. As the adventure pulls the trio away from the rest of the tribe, Ed becomes an essential part of the filmmaking team.
With his presence, “Minions & Monsters” brings a meaningful reminder that teamwork comes in many forms, and every voice matters, even without spoken words.
Dick Wants to Keep Things Classic
Then there is Dick, the tribe’s self-appointed leader.

Unlike James, Dick is fully committed to the classic Minion mission: finding a villain to serve. For him, James’ filmmaking dreams are strange, impractical, and completely unnecessary.
With no interest in chasing movie magic, Dick pushes back against James’ outlandish plans. Of course, that only makes the adventure even funnier, messier, and more entertaining.
Pierre Coffin Returns as the Voice Behind the Minions
Directing “Minions & Monsters” is Pierre Coffin, the longtime voice of the Minions since their creation.

In this new film, Coffin brings to life James, Henry, Ed, and Dick, giving each character a distinct personality while keeping the iconic Minion charm fans know and love.
