The Xiaomi 12 Lite has been confirmed to join the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in the smartphone brand’s latest lineup. Quite a latecomer, the Xiaomi 12 series has already launched in the Philippine market back in March, but the new Lite variant still catches our attention with its stylish look and decent specs for a mid-range device in the market.
The new Xiaomi 12 Lite boasts a 6.55″ FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, Kryo 670 CPU that goes up to 2.4GHz, and Adreno 642L GPU. It has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.2 for storage, available in the following combinations: 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. It is powered by a 4300mAh battery that supports 67W turbo charging.
For the Xiaomi 12 Lite’s camera setup, it has a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear, and a 32MP selfie camera in the front. Some of the rear camera features include SkyScaping, Magic cutout, depth control, and AI portrait mode just to name a few.
What makes the new device further stand out is its stylish appearance, as its matte finish is available in eye-catching colors: Lite Pink and Lite Green, as well as the more classic Black.
The international price for the Xiaomi 12 Lite starts at $399 (around P22,300) for the 6GB+128GB variant; $449 (around P25,100) for the 8GB+128GB variant; and $499 (around P27,900) for the 8GB+256 variant. It is yet to be revealed when the smartphone will be available here in the Philippines.
