TriNoma Launches Larger-Than-Life Movie Experience with A-Giant Cinema

More than a movie experience, TriNoma’s A-Giant cinema journeys with the audience in bringing to life the magic meant to be seen only in theaters. A-Giant is Ayala Malls Cinemas’ flagship theater, with a screen that is four times bigger than the standard movie screen for a more immersive experience. The A-Giant cinema in TriNoma has a 600-seating capacity and premium features, such as plush seating with generous legroom, cutting-edge laser projections for sharper images, and top-notch Dolby Sound and Dolby Atmos technologies to enhance audio depth.

With their exclusive titles and premium features, Ayala Malls Cinemas has become a premiere destination for cinema fans and enthusiasts. This is the third location with the A-Giant cinema, after the first one in Ayala Malls Vertis North and the second in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.

Guests at the A-Giant TriNoma launch were treated to cocktails from Astons, and got to sample the new cinema with a special block screening of the highly anticipated Disney-Marvel superhero movie “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” starring Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing) and Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch).

Apart from the launch of the A-Giant cinema, TriNoma’s cinemas completed its glow up with a revamped lobby and upgraded audio visual enhancements; TriNoma’s cinemas now feature Dolby Atmos across all screens.

Jonah Hauer-King as Milo Griffin
Known for The Little Mermaid and Doctor Who, Jonah Hauer-King plays the grounded and guilt-ridden Milo. “There’s all the fear factor, mystery, blood, and slasher stuff, which is brilliant,” he says. “We introduce some great new characters to root for, and Jenn and the other writers have brought a contemporary, fresh humor to it. There’s a wink, which is fun because the horror and comedy are intertwined and play off each other nicely,” he says.

Chase Sui Wonders as Ava Brucks
Perceptive and passionate, Ava — played by Bodies Bodies Bodies star Chase Sui Wonders — resists the initial silence after the group’s fatal accident. “What happens at Reaper’s Curve tests Ava, and the group, in ways that you can’t really come back from,” explains Wonders. “It’s a new reality that everyone has to contend with.”

The fiercely loyal best friend to Ava, Danica tries to protect her bond even as their world unravels. “Danica and Ava are two peas in a pod,” Cline points out. “They’ve been best friends forever, and it’s one of those friendships that will remain strong – no matter what they go through.”

Tyriq Withers as Teddy Spencer
With a smile that hides deep trauma, Teddy is the town’s golden boy with a complicated past. “Teddy has a vulnerable side because despite his parents’ resources, there was a lack of real support, and Teddy experienced some real trauma,” says Tyriq Withers. “Still, he is always the light of the group. I’d say he’s even the glue, the comedic factor that tries to alleviate painful situations. Teddy just wants to be around good energy all the time, because he missed out on that in the family home.”

Sarah Pidgeon as Stevie
Stevie is the realist, grounded and haunted. Now working at a bar run by Southport survivor Ray (Freddie Prinze Jr.), she represents the emotional weight of past tragedies. “I’ve certainly been there as Stevie,” says Sarah Pidgeon. “You find a corner to hide in, but I think Stevie is the realist of the group. She’s a foil to Danica, who has been able to skirt around a lot of consequences in her life. Stevie has not been able to do that. Every time her life has gone off the rails, she’s suffered for it.”

Robinsons Sta. Rosa Welcomes SSS to Lingkod Pinoy Center

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) Lingkod Pinoy Center, Robinsons Malls’ convenience hub for government services, recently inaugurated the Social Security System (SSS) branch located at the 3^rd level of Robinsons Sta. Rosa. Operating hours is from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The new SSS branch is set to primarily cater to the residents of Sta. Rosa and the nearby cities of Cabuyao, Calamba, Biñan, San Pedro, and Carmona.   The branch has the capacity to service around 1, 500 walk-in members and process more than 7,000 transactions every day.  Services included are processing of Death, Disability and Funeral Claims, Pension Loan Program, Annual Confirmation of Pensioner, UMID ID Capture/Releasing of UMID, Submission/Release of E-1 and E-4, Releasing of Educational and Calamity Loan Checks, Employer Transactions: Posting, Contribution Payments, Loan Payments, Data Amendments and Request Assistance.

The inauguration ceremony was led by SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph M. De Claro, alongside top SSS executives and local government leaders represented by Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas and Laguna Vice Governor Atty. JM Carait III.  Representing Robinsons Land Corporation were Vice President for Operations and Marketing Joel Lumanlan and External Affairs Director Irving Wu.

“We are truly grateful to Robinsons Land Corporation for providing the Social Security System with a wonderful facility here in Sta. Rosa. This collaboration with Robinsons Malls is a long-term partnership, and we look forward to taking it to the next level as we continue to make social security more accessible and responsive to the needs of every Filipino,” says SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph M. De Claro.

Mr. De Claro adds that this partnership allows SSS to better serve their growing number of members and pensioners in Laguna. He also shared that agency’s strategy is clear- to expand their footprint across the province bringing  its  services closer to the community.

The Lingkod Pinoy Center at Robinsons Sta. Rosa also houses other various agencies like Philhealth, Pag-IBIG, LTO, PHLPOST, PRC, and GSIS.“Robinsons Malls, through our Lingkod Pinoy Centers, remains committed to making essential government services more accessible, convenient and safe for every Filipino. The opening of the new SSS branch at Robinsons Sta. Rosa reflects our shared commitment with government agencies to bringing relevant services closer to the people and making everyday transactions easier for all,” said Joel Lumanlan, Vice President for Operations and Marketing of Robinsons Malls.
