In a spectacular celebration of community, culture, and sound, thousands of music lovers packed the Ayala Triangle Gardens on Saturday, June 20, for the Fête de la Musique Philippines 2026 Main Stage. Integrated into the bustling Makati Street Meet and Makati City Fiesta, the free open-air concert officially anchored the 32nd edition of the festival, proving once again why it remains the country’s premier free celebration of Filipino music.
Co-presented by Alliance Française de Manille, Funkybeat Entertainment, and the Embassy of France to the Philippines, the festival is operating under this year’s core theme “For the People, By the People.” The milestone Main Stage offered an unforgettable musical journey that seamlessly bridged generations, genres, and borders.
The undisputed highlight of the evening was the historic, highly anticipated return of the legendary jazz-rock and spoken-word collective Radioactive Sago Project. Marking their first live gig after an extended hiatus, the iconic group commanded the stage with the raw, chaotic poetry and biting energy that first cemented their status in the local music scene.
The momentum was kept at a fever pitch throughout the night by a spectacular multi-genre bill of OPM icons and breakthrough powerhouses. Lola Amour sent the massive crowd into a frenzy, leading a park-wide singalong to their massive chart-topping hits, while Morobeats electrified the venue with an explosive hip-hop performance that put the raw power of the local rap scene on full display. The Jewelmer Jazz Band added world-class sophistication to the evening, captivating listeners with intricate jazz rhythms, as indie favorites fitterkarma and pop-rock outfit Nameless Kids delivered stellar, high-octane sets that highlighted the vibrant future of local music.
True to the festival’s spirit of international cultural exchange, the evening was elevated by global sounds. French krautrock trio Meule brought a wall of analog trance and psychedelia as part of their Asian tour, while French-Vietnamese harpist Héloïse La Harpe enchanted the crowd with her mesmerizing contemporary strings. Across the street, the weekend was rounded out by the Taste of France French Market along Paseo de Roxas, which drew massive crowds of foodies and cultural enthusiasts looking for authentic French gastronomy and artisanal goods.
The Music Continues: Pocket and Destination Stages Take Over This Weekend
While the Main Stage has wrapped up, FêtePH2026 is far from over. For those looking to keep the celebration going, the festival’s massive nationwide wave is cresting this coming weekend.
On Friday, June 26, the music officially spills directly into the streets, bars, and creative hubs of Makati for the fan-favorite Makati Pocket Stages. Dozens of hyper-localized, genre-specific stages will activate simultaneously—covering everything from punk, indie, and emo to house, jazz, and dream pop—allowing fans to hop from venue to venue all night long.
Simultaneously, the party expands across the entire archipelago from June 20 to 28. A massive network of 23 NCR Stages and 66 Destination Stages across 33 provinces—including lively hubs in Cebu, Iloilo, Palawan, Zambales, and Bohol—are activating to bring the free Fête experience directly to regional communities.
The month-long music marathon will reach its ultimate conclusion on Monday, June 29, with an intimate performance by acclaimed jazz duo Project Yazz at the Long Bar in Raffles Makati.
Admission to all remaining Fête de la Musique pocket stages and regional events remains completely free and open to all. For complete stage maps, local lineups, and schedules for this weekend’s events, follow Fête de la Musique Philippines on their official social media channels.

The event was attended by business leaders, corporate partners, media representatives, and digital creators.
Founded over 10 years ago, Comfort Living Philippines is considered one of the country’s pioneering online mattress and sleep solutions companies. A Brand Built on Comfort, Designed for Modern Living
Today, Comfort Living Philippines is more than just a mattress company. “We are a trusted partner in helping people sleep better, recover better, and live better,” You explains.
Beyond innovative products, Comfort Living Philippines makes upgrading your sleep easier than ever. A Commitment to Customer Experience
Comfort Living Philippines was built on a simple observation: buying a mattress in the Philippines was often complicated, confusing, and expensive. Customers had to visit multiple showrooms, navigate aggressive sales tactics and choose from products that often came with premium price tags but little guidance. “We saw an opportunity to redefine mattress shopping by moving it entirely online—offering a seamless, transparent, and ultra-convenient experience right from the comfort of one’s home,” You expounds.
The company understands that purchasing a mattress is a highly personal decision. While many customers confidently complete their purchase online in just a few minutes, Comfort Living Philippines also recognizes that some may need additional guidance when choosing the right product. Their team is readily available through phone, chat, and online support channels to help customers navigate their options. By taking the time to understand factors such as sleeping position, comfort preferences, body type, and budget, they can provide tailored recommendations that simplify the decision-making process. This balance of convenience and personalized service allows customers to enjoy the ease of online shopping while having access to expert guidance whenever they need it, a customer-first approach that continues to set Comfort Living Philippines apart from competition.

For all the dishes you cook at home, nothing beats using herbs and spices that are fresh and flavorful.
It’s what absolutely delights the senses and makes a recipe better. That first scent of aromatic warmth when you open a bottle of smoked paprika, the sharp and herbal fragrance of crushed rosemary, or the sweet, comforting scent of ground cinnamon—these are the sensory details and flavors that we look for when we’re cooking.
Knowing how important fresh ingredients are for cooking, McCormick Philippines—the country’s trusted flavor authority—continues to innovate and elevate the cooking experience for home cooks and professional chefs alike. This is reflected in its redesigned Herbs, Spices & Seasoning Blends glass bottle range, which combines a refreshed look with SnapTight Cap technology to help preserve freshness for a more prolonged period.
Locked-in freshness
How does McCormick Herbs & Spices stay fresh longer?
It’s all because of the innovative SnapTight Cap technology, which creates an airtight, robust lock that actively preserves the flavor and aroma of your favorite spices. By keeping air and humidity at bay, your seasonings stay as aromatic and potent as the day you first open the bottle.
The SnapTight Cap is engineered to maintain freshness. The audible click you hear upon closing the cap gives you confirmation that the bottle is securely closed. When you hear that sound, you can be confident that your herbs and spices are protected and staying fresh.
And to complement this flavor-saving technology, McCormick Philippines has also refreshed its look with a globally unified, clean Red Bottle design. It instantly elevates the aesthetic of your kitchen shelves while making it easier to spot your go-to herbs, spices, and seasonings on a crowded pantry rack.

Siesta, the brand that redefined the local horchata scene in the Philippines, officially returns to its roots in the South with a dual-impact expansion: the opening of its newest branch in BF Homes, Paranaque, and the unveiling of its premier concept space, Ola by Siesta, at Alabang West Parade.
This two-pronged launch marks a significant milestone for the brand, bringing Siesta back to the community where it all began while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of the café experience.
Siesta: A Community Homecoming in BF Homes
The relocation to BF Homes signifies a return to Siesta’s heritage, offering the neighborhood its signature horchata-centric menu in a familiar, welcoming setting.
Designed as a community-focused hub, this branch serves as a home for the brand’s loyal followers in the South. Guests can enjoy their favorite signature blends in a space that celebrates the neighborhood “siesta” culture, from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
“Returning to the South is a full-circle moment for us. Siesta started in the South with a simple love for horchata that I would share with family and friends, and seeing that passion grow into a dedicated concept space feels surreal. It’s incredibly special to bring it back to where it all began,” says Paola Huyong, the visionary behind Siesta.
Ola by Siesta: An Experiential Horizon at Alabang West
Meanwhile, Ola by Siesta at Alabang West Parade serves as the brand’s new “concept space”—a fresh, experiential destination designed for tastemakers who value both aesthetic design and deep connection.
The centerpiece of the Ola experience is the Horchata Tasting Flight, the first of its kind in the local café scene. By day, beginning May 16, Ola operates as a café with an evolving menu, then transforms into an intimate tasting-menu experience on weekend evenings.
Curated in collaboration with Chef Relynette Tan, this immersive offering pays tribute to the Philippines as a rice-growing country, showcasing locally sourced ingredients from various provinces to highlight the depth and complexity of the traditional rice drink.
Chef Rely’s appreciation for Latin cuisine deepened while working alongside Mexican, Guatemalan, Peruvian, Salvadoran, and Argentinian colleagues in kitchens across the United States.
Through these shared culinary experiences, she was introduced to flavors and dishes such as arepas, pupusas, mole, and many others — inspirations that ultimately helped shape this contemporary interpretation of horchata.
From Fridays to Sundays, starting at 6:00 PM, the Horchata Tasting Flight debuts as an immersive journey through horchata’s evolution, told through carefully crafted pours, flavors, and traditions inspired by different cultures and eras.
The experience features five meticulously crafted drinks paired with a signature dessert, delivering a cohesive, thoughtfully curated flavor experience for every guest.
To keep the experience intimate and thoughtfully curated, each tasting flight is limited to a few guests per session.
While a dedicated reservation website is currently in development, those looking to secure a seat for this immersive experience can coordinate their schedules through Instagram.
“With the launch of the Horchata Tasting Flight, we wanted to create an experience that feels entirely new, one that invites guests to discover horchata in a more thoughtful, immersive, and unexpected way,” shares Paola.
“More than simply serving a drink, we want to take our guests on a journey through different notes, textures, and interpretations of horchata. Ola is rooted in exploration and discovery, and we’re excited for the South community to experience what we’ve been creating.”
Whether visiting the community-focused BF branch or the sleek, experiential Ola by Siesta in Alabang, guests can expect the same commitment to elevated horchata.
The Sandbox Collective announced a strictly limited staged reading of Duncan Macmillan’s critically acclaimed play, PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS, slated for August 2026. The reading will be helmed by the company’s Artistic Director, Sab Jose.

A summer of suspense, seduction and obsession begins with the premiere of FX’s “The Shards,” the new drama series from executive producer Ryan Murphy based on the acclaimed bestselling novel by Bret Easton Ellis. The series will premiere Thursday, August 6 at 9 a.m exclusively on Disney+.
Set against the vivid backdrop of 1980s Los Angeles, the series follows a group of privileged high school seniors at an elite prep school as they navigate identity, sex, jealousy, obsession and the dangers lurking beneath the surface of American adolescence.
At its center is Bret (Igby Rigney), an aspiring writer and keenly observant teenager whose reality begins to unravel with the arrival of a mysterious and magnetic new student, Robert Mallory (Homer Gere). Transferring in just before his senior year, Robert’s appearance coincides with the growing terror of The Trawler, a serial killer targeting teenagers across the city.
Alongside Bret is his elite social circle, which consists of Susan Reynolds (Kaia Gerber), Debbie Schaffer (Hayes Warner) and Thom Wright (Graham Campbell), a glamorous and deeply entangled group drawn into a life of wealth, beauty, parties and excess. The promise of their youth is contrasted with the dark and cynical world of the adults surrounding them: Terry Schaffer (Wes Bentley), Liz Schaffer (Evan Rachel Wood) and Steven Reinhardt (Jordan Roth).
A fusion of the voices of two of America’s most provocative storytellers — Ryan Murphy and Bret Easton Ellis — FX’s “The Shards” is executive produced by Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Ellis, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, Tanase Popa, Nick Hall, Michael Uppendahl, Max Winkler, Kathleen McCaffrey and Brian Young.
