Metro Manila commuters are in for a super-powered surprise.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” has taken over select trains on LRT-1 and LRT-2, transforming the familiar daily commute into a moving Marvel showcase. Wrapped from end to end in artwork from the upcoming film, the trains feature Spider-Man, Hulk, and members of The Hand.

Whether you are heading to work, school, or your next city stop, keep an eye on the tracks. Your train might arrive with a friendly neighborhood hero on board.
A Heroic New Look for LRT-1
LRT-1 connects commuters traveling across Metro Manila from Fernando Poe Jr. Station, formerly Roosevelt, to Dr. Santos Station, formerly Sucat.
With 25 stations along the route, the line serves passengers heading to several major schools and universities. Vito Cruz Station provides access to De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, while Pedro Gil Station is near the University of the Philippines Manila. United Nations Station is close to Adamson University, and Central Terminal Station is convenient for Mapúa University and Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

The line also brings passengers near some of Manila’s well-known attractions, including Rizal Park, Intramuros, and the Pasig River Esplanade.
Now, commuters traveling along the route may also spot an impressive “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” train brightening up their journey.
Spider-Man Takes Over LRT-2
The superhero excitement continues on LRT-2, which runs between Recto and Antipolo.
The 13-station railway serves thousands of commuters traveling between the eastern and western sides of the metro. Recto Station connects passengers to LRT-1 through Doroteo Jose Station, while Araneta Center-Cubao Station provides access to MRT-3. Katipunan Station is also a key stop for students heading toward Ateneo de Manila University and the University of the Philippines Diliman.

With the movie-themed train now traveling along the line, even an ordinary trip could turn into a memorable Spider-Man sighting.
Peter Parker Faces a Powerful New Threat
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” follows Peter Parker as he adjusts to a world that no longer remembers him.
Now fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man, Peter watches his former friends continue their lives without him. The emotional pressure begins to trigger a transformation that he may not be able to control.
That same transformation, however, could be the only force capable of stopping a dangerous new threat to the city and the people he loves. Making the challenge even more terrifying, the villain is someone no one can see.

The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he has not forgotten the people he promised to protect.
“It’s quite emotional, but it’s also a lot of fun,” director Destin Daniel Cretton says of the film.
Cretton directs a cast led by Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Spider-Man. The film also stars Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
