Jin Isoo Is Back, and This Time He Means Business
The badge is official. The attitude? Still very much intact.
This summer, the hit Korean crime comedy Flex X Cop returns for an explosive second season, bringing back Jin Isoo and the violent crimes team for more high-stakes cases, outrageous clashes, and sharp comic tension. Flex X Cop Season 2 streams August 7 on Disney+, promising a fresh round of terrorists, assassins, impossible mysteries, and chaotic police work.
After a dramatic first season that followed Isoo’s transformation from spoiled conglomerate heir to surprisingly effective detective, the new season finds him stepping into the force with more discipline, more experience, and yes, still plenty of swagger.
From Spoiled Heir to Full-Fledged Police Officer
In Season 1, Jin Isoo proved that money, charm, and instinct could make an unlikely but powerful combination in solving crimes. Now, after surviving a gruelling stint at the police academy, Isoo returns not as an unofficial helper, but as a fully-fledged police officer.
Of course, becoming official does not mean things will suddenly become easy.
At the academy, Isoo’s unruly personality repeatedly clashed with his intense drill instructor, Joo Hye Ra. Strict, relentless, and absolutely not impressed by his privileged background, Hye Ra pushed Isoo to his limits. Unfortunately for Isoo, that chapter is not quite over.
When he returns to the violent crimes team, he discovers that Joo Hye Ra is now the team’s new leader. Even worse for him, the two are assigned as partners.
Cue the tension, the banter, and the kind of friction that makes every case a little more entertaining.

Ahn Bohyun and Jung Eunchae Lead the New Season
Ahn Bohyun, known for Itaewon Class and Yumi’s Cells, returns as Jin Isoo, the rich heir turned successful detective whose confidence often gets him into trouble before helping him out of it.
Joining him is Jung Eunchae, known for Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born and Pachinko, as Joo Hye Ra, the violent crimes team’s formidable new leader. With her no-nonsense approach and Isoo’s unpredictable methods, their partnership is set to become one of the season’s biggest sparks.
Behind the scenes, Kim Bada, who wrote Season 1, returns as writer, while Kim Jaehong, also from the first season, is back in the director’s chair. With the original creative team returning, fans can expect the same exciting mix of crime, comedy, character clashes, and stylish investigation work that made the first season a standout.
