An Unlikely Alliance with Dangerous Consequences
At its core, Born Guilty traces the journey of Pengi, a street-hardened enforcer whose past is marked by abandonment and hardship. Growing up in an orphanage, he learns early how to navigate a brutal environment, sharpening his instincts and fueling his hunger for power.
Calculating yet volatile, Pengi seeks to reshape his fate by rising through the criminal ranks. His path takes a decisive turn when he encounters Ssaengdak, a seasoned gangster who commands influence in Seoul’s northern territories.
What begins as a strategic partnership soon spirals into a risky pursuit of dominance. As they attempt to consolidate control over the city’s underworld, tensions mount, trust erodes, and every move carries life-altering consequences.
A Stellar Cast Backed by Acclaimed Creators
Bringing this compelling story to life is Park Seojoon (The Marvels, Itaewon Class), who takes on the challenging role of Pengi, showcasing a darker and more layered performance. Joining him is Um Taegoo (Light Shop, My Sweet Mobster), portraying the enigmatic and commanding Ssaengdak.
