A Chart-Topping Milestone for Korean Originals
Another major win for premium Asian storytelling—Made In Korea has officially become the number one most-viewed Korean Original premiere of 2025 on Disney+ across the APAC region*. The announcement arrives after a remarkable year for the streaming platform, which delivered a strong lineup of standout series including Hyper Knife, Tempest, The Manipulated, Nine Puzzles, Gannibal Season 2, and more.
With its stylish tone and gripping narrative, Made In Korea has quickly cemented itself as a must-watch title, capturing attention from audiences across the region and reinforcing Disney+ as a home for bold, high-impact Korean storytelling.

A High-Stakes Story of Power and Deception
Premiering on December 24, Made In Korea Season 1 centers on Baek Kitae, an ambitious KCIA agent living a dangerous double life. While presenting himself as a dedicated government operative, Kitae secretly runs an illegal smuggling network designed to consolidate power, generate enormous profits, and protect those closest to him.
Intelligent, polished, and relentlessly strategic, Kitae rises swiftly through the ranks—yet his carefully constructed world begins to crack when he encounters Jang Geonyoung, a principled prosecutor who refuses to bend. Unbribable and unwavering, Geonyoung becomes the one obstacle Kitae cannot eliminate. As both men push their limits, the series unfolds into a tense battle of wills where ambition clashes head-on with justice.
