The third season of Snowpiercer just unveiled its trailer, and it promises hope for the train passengers with the arrival of a mysterious woman who survived the outside world for years. Watch the trailer below:
Based on the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige and its film adaptation from director Bong Joon-ho, the Snowpiercer series is set in a dystopian world where the planet has become a frozen wasteland and the remaining humans have boarded the titular train to survive. Despite being the remnants of civilization, the passengers are still divided by class, inspiring a revolution among the people at the train’s tail compartments.
This season, viewers can expect more infighting between the passengers of the Snowpiercer as Layton continues his war against the train’s inventor Mr. Wilson. A mysterious persona also appears, claiming that she has survived the cold outside world for eight years.
The series stars Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Sean Bean, Iddo Goldberg, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright, Lena Hall, Sheila Vand, and Annalise Basso. Snowpiercer season 3 arrives on Netflix this January 25.
