In 1971, William Peter Blatty’s novel, “The Exorcist,” sent shockwaves through readers with its tale of demonic possession, family trauma, and shaken faith. When it hit the silver screen in 1973, under the direction of William Friedkin, it became a cinematic masterpiece that haunted audiences worldwide. Now, half a century later, “The Exorcist: Believer” reignites the terror, taking us deeper into the abyss of the unexplainable.

Victor Fielding, still haunted by his wife’s death 12 years ago, faces the unimaginable when his daughter, Angela, and her friend Katherine return from a mysterious three-day disappearance with no recollection of their ordeal. As sinister forces envelop them, Victor turns to the one person who can guide him through this nightmare: Chris MacNeil. With faith, fear, and multiple faiths at play, this chilling continuation of the original tale explores the battle against darkness and the power of belief.

“Cobweb” takes us back to the 1970s, where Director Kim is obsessed with reshooting the ending of his completed film. Kim’s artistic ambitions collide with the tumultuous production, leading to a web of complications that threaten to unravel everything.

Premiering at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, “Cobweb” serves up a darkly hilarious narrative centered around a director’s desperate quest for the perfect ending. The film boasts an all-star cast, including Song Kang-ho, acclaimed for his role in “Parasite.” With its mix of dark comedy and behind-the-scenes drama, “Cobweb” promises to be a wild ride through the eccentric world of ’70s filmmaking.
