    A new appetizer is the decadent TRUFFLE BAKED EGGPLANT made with eggplant planks, truffle meat sauce, creamy alfredo sauce and topped with Italian cheeses.

    Another dish that’s perfect for the season is the PARMESAN CRUSTED SIRLOIN. It’s grilled to your liking with a crispy parmesan crust for that extra crush and served with mashed potatoes.

And there are three new ones for you to choose from: First up is the BAKED ZITI, smashed meatballs and ziti pasta tossed in marinara and alfredo sauce with chili flakes, topped with Italian chees1es then oven baked until golden brown. For those who are partial to seafood, there’s the fiery and flavorful SEAFOOD DIAVOLO with scampi sauce, shrimp, scallops, calamari, and Tuscan herbs.  It is spicy, alright! Olive Garden also recently introduced its delicious version of the classic SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS, a familiar and comforting dish with meatballs and marinara sauce.

    Add a serving or two of fish dishes to a festive meal.  Olive Garden has STEAMED HALIBUT, delicate and flaky halibut steamed with lemon butter and Italian vegetables, served with spaghetti.     MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN NEW AT OLIVE GARDEN

    First up is the MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN. The bright, citrusy flavor of lemon and the savory taste of capers and peppers are infused into the chicken as an ode to the rich, vibrant food and culture of the Mediterranean.

    Another new dish was inspired by the Tuscan region, CHICKEN TUSCANY.  Golden fried boneless leg quarter chicken is complemented by a mix of sundried tomatoes, creamy mushroom spinach sauce, and parmesan cheese.

    Then there’s the perfectly herby ROASTED HERB CHICKEN. Half-a-chicken is roasted with a mixture of various herbs and spices and served with , marbled potatoes, carrots and a mushroom gravy.

  • Olive Garden Opens Second Branch in Glorietta 3, Expanding Its Reach in the Philippines

    Famous for its Never-Ending garden-fresh salad, homemade soups, and fresh-baked, soft garlic breadsticks, Olive Garden is the largest American-Italian restaurant chain in the United States, where it operates more than 900 restaurants and employs more than 96,000 people.

    Greg Balogh,  Darden Regional Operations director, will be in Manila to attend the restaurant’s launch.  A team of trainors from the USA is also in town to prepare the local staff for the opening.  “We are excited to open our 2nd branch in the Philippines in a span of 3 months, on the heels of the success of our maiden store at the Mall of Asia.  We are very pleased about the enthusiastic welcome that Filipinos accorded Olive Garden and we look forward to expanding the brand in more locations soon,” Balogh said.

  • FIRST LOOK: Olive Garden Opens its First Restaurant in the Philippines

    You no longer need to go abroad to have a taste of Olive Garden‘s finest offerings!

    The largest Italian-American restaurant chain in the US, with more than 900 restaurants at present, is opening its first branch here in the Philippines! Before they open their doors to the public on September 12, the restaurant held a media launch giving the members of the press a try at their flavorsome lineup of Italian dishes.

    The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the South Entertainment Mall at the SM Mall of Asia. From inside the mall, customers are greeted by their bar counter, with a rustic stone passageway leading to their main dining area. The restaurant has a spacious interior, with earth tones giving off a warm and cozy vibe, while the comfortable furniture and decor allude to the Italian countryside. Olive Garden has a seating capacity of 300, with an al fresco area facing the Seaside Boulevard.

    Of course, the highlight of our visit is their rich roster of dishes that boast authentic Italian flavors and hearty servings. Kick off your meal and excite your palates with their appetizers: the Lasagna Fritta has a crisp exterior slathered with cheese and meat sauce, and bursts with a bang of lasagna goodness; while the Shrimp Frito Misto is a platter of breaded and fried shrimp with marinara and ranch dips.
