Howl If You Love Books—Glorietta is Bringing the Big Bad Wolf to the Mall!

Teaming up with Big Bad Wolf Books Philippines, Glorietta is making the much-anticipated book fair more accessible to the public by bringing it to Glorietta Activity Center and Palm Drive Activity Center from June 19 to 26, 2024. This partnership is part of Ayala Mall’s broader advocacy, “BookLat: Open. Imagine. Discover.,” to provide avenues for recreation and experiential learning. The name “BookLat” is a play on the Filipino word “buklat,” reflecting the campaign’s focus on reading, leisure, and entertainment. Expect a wide range of affordable books to cater to all age groups. We’re talking millions of discounted books, from page-turners to hidden gems, all waiting to be devoured.

The book sale isn’t just about books; it’s about building a community of readers. Ayala Malls is going “Beyond Books” by championing a donation drive, encouraging customers to share a book for every purchase in support of Ayala Land’s undertaking to foster early childhood literacy. This project aims to collect 20,000 books that will benefit kindergarten to grade 3 students in public schools within Ayala Land Estates and Ayala Malls communities. Compassion fatigue, a silent struggle faced by many women, takes center stage at Glorietta’s Women’s Month campaign, “How She Blooms: A Tribute to Thriving Women.” Learn how Glorietta’s initiatives aim to empower women’s well-being through nurturing activities and retail surprises that cater to heart, body, and mind.

Join the dialogue on March 16, 1:00 to 3:00 PM, at the Palm Drive Activity Center, where Glorietta partners with leading mental health app, Mind You, to host a free coffee and therapy group session. Featuring Mind You’s resident psychologist, Rea Celine Villa, the session offers insights and support for combating compassion fatigue. Glorietta Welcomes the Year of the Wood Dragon with a Grand Chinese New Year Celebration

Glorietta, the premier shopping destination in the heart of Metro Manila, is gearing up to usher in the auspicious Year of the Wood Dragon with a spectacular Lunar New Year celebration. Olive Garden Opens Second Branch in Glorietta 3, Expanding Its Reach in the Philippines

Famous for its Never-Ending garden-fresh salad, homemade soups, and fresh-baked, soft garlic breadsticks, Olive Garden is the largest American-Italian restaurant chain in the United States, where it operates more than 900 restaurants and employs more than 96,000 people.

Greg Balogh, Darden Regional Operations director, will be in Manila to attend the restaurant’s launch. A team of trainors from the USA is also in town to prepare the local staff for the opening. “We are excited to open our 2nd branch in the Philippines in a span of 3 months, on the heels of the success of our maiden store at the Mall of Asia. We are very pleased about the enthusiastic welcome that Filipinos accorded Olive Garden and we look forward to expanding the brand in more locations soon,” Balogh said.
