  • Hang out at home with Dad with these 4 Father’s Day activities

This weekend, it’s time to kick back, relax and hang out at home with Dad. Here’s some suggestions for a chill but super fun bonding time with The Man this Father’s Day.

    TMP

    1. Patriarch, Cicerone, Sommelier. Get a crack at trying and rating different craft beer or wine with Dad. Shop from Crazy Carabao and review the Aroma, Taste, and Feel of their Craft Beer – Pilsner or Golden Ale? You can also try out the offerings of Monkey Eagle Brewery like Sunsweeper, Soothsayer Pale Ale or Potion 28 IPA when you shop at Philippine Craft Kings. Heading now into the vino territory, conduct a wine tasting sesh and explore rich flavors of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chianti and Shiraz from Gurkka.com, H&T Wines, Titania Wines and The Marketplace. Complement your preferred beverages with the top-tier selections at Auro Chocolate, like the Calamansi Cheesecake White Chocolate, Mocha Crunch Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Cacao Nibs, or the 70% Dark Chocolate Paquibato.

    2. Handy Daddy. Learn from the best at carpentry and home repair, try making a table or other woodworking projects together. Consult Dad on carpentry and hardware tools if you’re shopping around to build your own kit. You may be surprised with your good ol’ poppa’s thoughts on a Lotus Screwdriver Set, Black+Decker Circular Saw, a Greenfield Pressure Washer or a Stanley Crowbar when you look at them from Handyman, True Value, Creston Hardware, Powerhouse, Ace Hardware or Tolsen Tools.

    3. Game night. You can throw a themed viewing party when watching your favorite sport together, bring out the board games or let dear old Dad regale you with all of the cute and quirky trivia he knows in trivia cards or quiz bees. Shop for some snacks like Tostitos Salsa paired with Nacho Chips at S&R or Nacho King, or or try new flavors of spicy and cheesy nacho chips from No Brand, an easy-serve variation from Heat2Eat, and a protein-packed rendition from Nutrition Depot. Look out for board games, decks of strategic card games and video game consoles from Toys R Us, National Bookstore, and Toy Kingdom.

    4. Fatherly Fitness. The best gym bro may in fact be… a gym dad! They may be the best buddy or accountability partner that you can work with on your fitness program. So buddy up and exercise at home or go around the neighborhood, get a Resistance Band, Exercise Ball, Kettle Bells, Yoga Mat, Skateboards or Scooters, from Chaser Action Sports and Fairbright Enterprises.
