Next, present the GigaLife App to show proof of account or mobile number ownership, and proof of purchase of the Magic Data+ offers.

Subscribers may top up Magic Data+ to up to five registered Smart Prepaid numbers per ticket, as long as the required number of Magic Data+ top-up are met. Fans who will top up to more than one number must present proof of purchase on the GigaLife App or e-loading channels such as the subscriber’s number to whom Magic Data+ 649 or 749 was sent, and/or receipt of transaction.

Second concert in the Philippines

TWICE’s upcoming concert is their second visit to the Philippines since 2019.

The Philippine leg is part of the TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ that kicked off in Seoul early this year, which includes shows in Japan, Australia, the US, Singapore, Berlin, Thailand, Paris, and London.

Catch The Beatles Legacy 2023 World Tour By Javier Parisi At Hard Rock Cafe Conrad on July 27

Hard Rock Café is proud to present “The Beatles Legacy 2023 World Tour” with popular performer who looks and sounds just like John Lennon, Javier Parisi. It will be held at Hard Rock Café Conrad on JULY 27. Show starts at 9 pm.

Parisi, who is not just an impersonator but a professional interpreter, was born in Argentina. Growing up, he was deeply influenced by The Beatles, creating his first tribute band to the “Fab Four From Liverpool.” From playing at small venues, they later staged gigs at better-renowned stages carrying out a musical, vocal and scenic recreation of The Beatles.

Javier and his band were invited to perform at the “Beatles Annual Convention In Liverpool, successfully toured South America captivating audiences with their great physical and vocal performances. In 2017, they performed at the mythical “Luna Park” Stadium, the most important dome in Argentina, making the entire audience vibrate and thrill.

Javier received proposals from UK to work in Europe, prompting him to master the accent from Liverpool, working with vocal coaches and studying courses on make-up and body gestures just like John Lennon. He started performing solo acoustic presentation in Argentina, occasionally backed by a band.

In 2018, Javier got in touch with Helen Anderson, the distinguished designer who created the classic leather caps for John Lennon throughout his career. Javier bought one of the limited-edition designs from Anderson via Instagram who posted Javier wearing the cap. Julian Lennon, John’s son, leaves a comment. “I love him!”

After that high-level exposure, Javier was invited to impersonate John Lennon for a musical play in Liverpool, England. His popularity soared in Europe and Argentina. He performed several acoustic shows throughout United Kingdom,at the “Summer Fest,” “International Beatle Week” and the Annual Beatles Convention, where he completed very successful performances. Javier was also chosen to recreate two characters (Norberto and Lennon) for a new film called “Lennons” directed by José Cicala. In April 2022 Javier was invited to perform at Abbey Road Studios, where The Beatles recorded their albums. In May 2022 Javier, he was part of one of the biggest Beatles events in the world, called “Helsinki Beatles weekend”. And in June 2022, Javier shot a version of “Give peace a chance” recorded originally in 1969 by John Lennon. The filming was in Ourense, Galicia, Spain.

Philippine Business and Disability Network (PBDN) Holds Annual Conference for Disability Inclusion in the Workplace

The Philippine Business and Disability Network (PBDN), which is a for-and-by business platform that provides barrier-free workplaces for Persons with Disability, will be holding their second annual conference this July 19, 2023 at SMX Convention Center Aura entitled Working Beyond Barriers.

As a non profit organization, PBDN strives towards equal opportunities for persons with disability by actively implementing initiatives that center on learning, collaboration, and support for disability inclusion advocates from the private sector to enable persons with disability’s full participation, growth, and success within the workforce.

Core activities of PBDN include connecting persons with disability to hiring opportunities, capacitating companies through various training and learning sessions, and collaborating with companies through further contributing to disability research and literature.

A few notable PBDN partner members include JP Morgan Chase & Co., IBM, Paypal, PLDT-Smart, Nestle, Coca-Cola Beverages and Co. to name a few.

A participant from last year shared her thoughts on last year’s conference, saying it was “Overflowing with insights” “Specific solutions were provided, and best practices were shared. This allowed companies just starting on their DEI journey to gain more understanding and perspective on the topic.”

Another partner appreciated that “The conference allowed attendees to learn about different disability inclusion topics” and said that the breakout sessions gave them the opportunity to personally listen and raise questions to the speakers, allowing for better engagement.

To raise awareness for workplace inclusion, the PBDN conference will feature local and international speakers who also support the same vision. Some of the speakers last year include John Nicholls from PayPal, Jen Legasca of Asurion; members of the Person with Disability community like Krissy Bisda, Ernie Heredero; and international speakers like Susan Scott-Parker from ILO-GBDN.
